General Tropes:

As a child, Hitomi had a feral appearance due to her Origin Beast form and only wore a plain dress. After losing her Origin Beast form and being adapted into human society, Hitomi started to wear normal clean clothes that fit her. Hitomi's past as to where she originated from, what she was, or how she was born, is left as a complete mystery. What can be said from the moment of her birth is that she somehow became blessed with animal genes that gave her the appearance and mannerisms of a wild beast. During her feral childhood, Hitomi resided in Hong Kong where she went around stealing food to survive, catching attention from the locals in the process who gave her the name Chùshēng ( 畜牲 , Chùshēng ?). This story had a good premise to it and was interesting to read the 9 chapters this manga had, if this manga were to keep going I would believe it could very well be amazing. It had a lot of promise to it, judging from the nine chapters it had I would say I was very intrigued in what was going on. Apathetic Citizens: After the Destival's preliminaries, it is shown that all the citizens on the brutes' island are made to believe Killing Bites is a mostly harmless sport and that all the people that clearly got killed on live tv were hospitalized and healed. Once the main tournament tournament starts, management acts like the supposed rule of not killing opponents is repealed, and there is much rejoicing from the crowd. Similar to Arachnid, the story opens with attempted rape and the following gruesome murder of the sex offenders by their would-be victim to set the tone for the story, even if the following events can be lighthearted and campy.
